OK, so most of us moms out there do not get to actually leave the house to work-out...at least this mommy doesn't! :) Due to the very chilly weather and no convenient gym membership, I have had to come up with my own "work-out"....let me share.
As I was DANCING about the kitchen today with Owen in my arms and Gabby riding her scooter around (crashing into everything, might I add!) the thought dawned on me; listening to God glorifying music and dancing with my precious kiddos are an excellent way to get my heart pumping and show my kiddos that dancing is PRAISING God and worshiping Him through song! Ezzy and I often jig around our kitchen to "our song", it is a song for the verse Psalm 139:14. God has wonderfully created all our children and when I have Ezzy in my arms making his arms raise and praise His God, I tend to tear up as I smile and dance away to the beautiful words of scripture pouring from my boombox! The song is from the music man named, Donut Man. I LOVE these CDs and recommend them to every and ALL moms! I even listened to the Donut Man when I was a little girl and as I listen to the CDs today, the words of scripture are fresh in my memory from listening to these God honoring songs when younger. (cassette tapes then :) Thanks Mom!
So, let me encourage you to look into the Donut Man, all the songs are pure scripture and glorify God with a peppy beat! I enjoy my mommy work-outs and wanted to share these CDs with you as something to look into.
God Bless and do a jig for the wonderful, powerful God we serve!
In HIS GOODNESS,
Liz
p.s. by the way, I also consider my stairs in my home a work-out too, since my washer and dryer are down there!!! :) Hey, make the most of what I have, right???
Dancing and praising....

Thanks for the wonderful idea and encouragement on my blog:)We've seen some Donut Man videos, but never the CD's. What a great idea. They just might need to be an Easter gift for our girls. And boy do I need some Mommy work-outs:)
Blessings:)
