My baby girl, Ellie is now four! We celebrated her birthday on the 16th. We woke up at our friend's house the morning of her birthday. We were staying with our friends due to the power being out at our house because of the Ice Storm that hit the Midwest last week. We were without power for a whole week (the reason why this post is coming so late, I was without internet!), but loved every minute of our fun time with friends. They have 5 year old triplets and a 2 yr. old son....so needless to say, Ellie woke up and had an instant party with all her friends! The picture below is of her and her friend Kendall, one of the triplets, who also just celebrated her birthday on the 13th. Their family celebration is to make "waffle houses" and park a chocolate bar car in the "house/ garage" :) Ellie loved this special Birthday Breakfast made by Kendall's daddy.
We are so blessed by our sweet Eliana Marie. Her heart is full of compassion and loves to snuggle. She loves to dance and brings joy into our days with her love for life and the need to "jig" all day long!
I love you sweet Ellsie Boo....Mommy thanks God for you sweet girl.

I am glad you had friends to stay with during your power outage. Sounds like Ellie had a wonderful despite not being at home.
