The past few weeks...

I am thankful for a nugget of time to update my blog. So here goes...an update of what the past few weeks have included.

The most joyous news of our home is another sweet son born only weeks ago!

So let me properly introduce my sweet son to you.

Noble Rivera Borbe was born on January 25th, 2010 at 8:04am by way of a repeat C-Section. Noble weighed 8 lb. 6 oz. and was 21 inches in length. We were very shocked at how big our son was, thankful he was healthy, and praising God for the privilege of another son! We chose the name Noble because of the meaning- "honorable, courageous, brave" and because we, as believers are called to think of things that are Noble (Phil 4:8), Rivera is my maiden name and an honor to his grandparents.

He is a beautiful addition to our Bunch and is fitting in quite well as our sixth child. We are all in love with him and each sibling loves to snuggle him and hold him. Big brother Owen just randomly informed me while coloring that, "Baby Noble is so cute!" as he returned to his coloring, I smiled at those sweet comments from a loving big brother. Boston loves to introduce "baby" any time someone comes by the house or when out together at the store. He thinks he is big stuff when holding his baby brother. We are thankful that he is adjusting well, although he has complete dibs on Nana and Papa when they are visiting, Noble just has to wait :) Ezra responds to his crying and gets the biggest eyes when he hears Noble cry. I love to see him seem so concerned for him, once we assure Ezzy that Noble is ok, he calms down. Ezzy is a good big brother. The girls are so very helpful around the house...their "little mamma" training is still happening every day, but I am so blessed by them and their help!

We celebrated Ezra's FIFTH birthday on January, we rejoice in the blessing he is in our lives! We hosted a wonderful Royal Knight themed party, a beautiful cake was made by daddy along with amazing decorations! We had a wonderful time together with friends and family whom are so very special to our Borbe Bunch.

I have been extremely blessed by help from so many sweet special people. The list is long of how I have felt so very loved and taken care of these past few weeks. God is amazing in His love for us in using people to encourage my heart! From meals brought in to laundry and cleaning done, I am thankful!

God has taught me much in these past few weeks, from battling a spinal headache, additional hospitalizations for myself and being apart from my family and new son, Ezra having pneumonia, the other children being sick, Noble fighting jaundice that resulted in repeat blood work and days on a billy blanket here at home, and having my best friend and hubby traveling away from home for work, just to name a few :)....God has shown Himself GOOD all the time. He is continually growing me in my patience with the children, giving me words of correction and training for them. He is showing me more and more that I must ENJOY my days as I keep up with my home, not just survive the day, I desire to have a heart that desires to "look well to the ways of her household"...I LOVE my life here in my beautiful home full of blessings, but I can let my desire to keep things clean and orderly all the time rob me of the JOY He offers. Life IS busy and full, keeping up with the house will always be there, so as my days are full of many tasks, I choose to take time with the things of life that are passing all too quickly, the training and nuturing of my children. I am thankful that God is ever patient with me his daughter and that His mercies are new every morning. I can so quickly blame my attitude on "being so tired" but I need to daily lean on HIM and His constant source of strength, for when I am weak, He is strong! I have a gracious understanding husband who causes me to thank God every day!! So as I close this update with some pictures, I have a sticky jelly filled face to clean off and kiss and a sweet baby boy that needs to nurse....enjoy your day and be blessed!
