I am excited to take on this great challenge! I will purpose to keep up with my blog (some time away is coming up) and be honest as I journal about the weeks ahead as I make honoring my husband a refreshed goal in my life.
Honoring our husbands is obedience to God and His Word. I am so blessed to have other wives out there to encourage me and spur me on in the blessing of being a wife to a man of God.
My goals for this week:
1. PRAY for my husband every day
2. Smile at him more :)
3. Look for extra ways to make him happy
I have read the great book, Created to Be His Helpmeet and recommend it to all wives! Debi Pearl is a woman of God who writes in a "no beating around the bush" kind of way, I like it! God's Word is clear in our calling as wives. It is our choice to obey or not.
I am so thankful for my husband, he is amazing and such a GIFT from God. We will be celebrating our 7 year anniversary in August. I love him so very much and praise God for creating Edwin...just for me! In another post, maybe I will take more time to brag on my man!!! :)

Congrats on the upcoming anniversary... we celebrated our 25th baack in December and we were amazed that the time went by so fast!!!
I'm excited to hear you've enjoyed that book. I've read it twice now and I get SO challanged every time I just think about all I've read! Such practical realistic advice not to mention such Godly words of wisdom! Russ has read it with me so I could hear his take on it and its been wonderful to know how to reach out to my dear man in his own words!

Those are wonderful goals you have. I had seen this challenge on a few other blogs and decided to do it also. I am so excited to be apart of this and to find ways to honor my husband!
7 years, wow?! Bill and I just celebrated our 7 year...so exciting! I remember talking to you at school one time about the fact that we were both going to be millennium brides. :) That seems like such a long time ago, but yet it's gone by so fast.

Congratulations on your Anniversary. Josiah and I will have our second next month. I enjoyed the book by Debi Pearl too. What "type" of man is your husband? Mine is a Mr. Steady with a lot of Mr. Visionary :-)
