My sister, my friend...

Here is my wonderful sister Melissa. She is a blessing and a true GIFT from God. She and her family will be boarding a plane and flying from New Hampshire to the country of Papua New Guinea tomorrow. They will be serving the Lord with New Tribes Mission in the ministry of Tribal Church Planting.
We had a great time visiting this past summer and I will forever treasure our talks, our hugs, and our time together. She is gentle and sweet, a true friend. She has and I know will continue to always be there for me, through "thick and thin". God has used her mightly in my life as an encouragement and cheerleader throughout our life together as sisters. I am so thankful for our special bond of sisterhood we share. There is none other quite as special and dear to me as my sister...Melissa.
I LOVE you with all of my heart!

I LOVE YOU MISCA....from the bottom of my heart! I am praying for God to use you for all that He has planned for you and your precious family!

You are greatly loved...

Wow Liz,
you make me teary eyed! I remember Melissa from school too and she has grown even more beautiful since then! Her joy of life makes her shine! Our prayers are with their family and please keep us posted as you hear from her, as I'm sure she'll be a bit too busy to be 'bloggin' :)
love ya,

Okay I don't have a sister but this really makes me want Ava Beth to have one. That means I would have to have four kids like you! :) But I bet I would end up with another boy!

Ok Liz, that was uncalled for! Just kidding of course... but for real, it does make me a bit teary eyed! I'm so glad to have a sister and friend like you. Your beauty is always evident and your strength in the Lord is amazing! Thanks for encouraging me and standing behind us as we find our way here in New Guinea! God's truly blessed us so far and we look forward to more of His faithfulness ahead!
