Thank you for those of you praying for Joanna. The latest update is that she is doing well, her main energy right now is in healing and getting as much rest as possible. Her and her family are staying with her parents...a restful and peaceful place my family and I have had the pleasure of staying at before....her mother is taking care of her all natural raw diet in hopes of it removing the cancer from her body....we pray for God's miraculous hand to touch her and heal her.
One of her sisters has come home from the mission field of Indonesia, leaving her two young children and husband behind. She has been a help in caring for Joanna's three young children...the family is truly pulling together, all the other siblings are praying for God to provide a way for them to likewise come home and love on their dear Joanna....please be in prayer for the need in this regard. Also a prayer request is for the Bergman family's need in purchasing a van, for trips between both parent's homes...from NH to Canada.
Thank you again for your love and concern, your prayers and support. We await to see what God does through the life of his daughter Joanna...

may I never forget...
With the heartbreaking, recent news of Joanna, my heart has been full of thoughts and prayer. At times I am unsure how to pray, but am thankful that the Lord knows my heart and my desire...I treasure my husband, my children, my health, and praise Him for the blessings He bestows...during a time such as this, it leads me to examine where I am at personally within my faith of God....how quickly we can take our present state for granted....I thank you Lord for being YOU...continue to make me humble and needy of YOU and Your wisdom.
I pray these words for sweet Joanna...
"Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul." Psalm 54:4
This is a hard one...but yet what God wants from His children...help my dear sister in the Lord, may she feel a peace beyond all understanding, guard her heart dear Lord.
"Because Thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise Thee."
Psalm 63:3
