Here is my little man...with a sweet little smile peeking it's way through...can you see it?
I can.
My mommy heart melts every time Ezzy gives us his famous "lip curl", otherwise known as a smile. I was stretching him as he was working with his Physical Therapist in his stander...he gave daddy a smile as he snapped a picture, capturing his sweet expression of hearing his daddy say, "good job Bubby"... :) Daddy is so proud, can you tell?
These moments captured are so precious and sweet. A true blessing and tribute to GOD and HIS amazing work in Ezra's life. I am in awe and thankful that God has chosen me, little 'ol me to mother Ezzy. Every day I have with my son, is a day I experience God's grace and sovereign control, a day I am reminded of my need for God's wisdom, for His peace and His direction...
Thank you Ezra for being my son, thank you for the precious gift you are, for teaching me every day what it means to trust and find comfort in the simple things of life. I love you, you slow me down, you make me calm...I am thankful to God for blessing me with you, for I never knew I could love another as I love you.

My two girls...
We were so blessed to be able to have a few days away as a family visiting my parents who so lovingly shared some of their Time Share vacation with us!
I have thought about and prayed about from time to time specifically for the Honor My Husband challenge I "took" on, or as I like to think, renewed my thinking and heart towards this obedience to God's Word. I can get so busy, due to fulfilling so many tasks that are part of life and totally MISS OUT on the BLESSING of having a wonderful husband and children. I don't want to look back and wonder where all the time went, I want to enjoy the here and NOW, thanking GOD for the blessing and wonderful gift of family HE has given to us.
So, an update about my personal goals...well, there is OF COURSE :) always room to improve, but writing them out previously has helped me to remember my goals and choose to act upon them. The goals I had written out where very general, but God knows exactly the things that go on in my heart and mind. So, I am happy to be able to know where I am and where I need to improve.
"Watch over your heart, with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of LIFE." Proverbs 4:23
This verse is great in reminding me that ALL I do, say, or even think comes from my heart. Man looks on the outside, but God looks at the heart....He knows all things and when we are willing and apply His Word to our lives, He will lead us in His truth and renew our minds...I am so thankful for His Holy Spirit that leads and guides me as His child. I am thankful for His Word that reveals the true intentions of my heart and gives me His wisdom to know how to live my life in a way pleasing unto HIM!
God you are so GOOD and I praise You for growing me and shaping me...
"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
Hebrews 4:12
