My hubby's b-day!

My hubby's favorite team is....well, you guessed it, the Boston Red Sox! I decorated this cake for him. I LOVE him so very much and thank God for him, my bestest friend in the world!

Ezra on surgery day...

Ezzy looked so CUTE in his little hospital gown, that was way too big for his tiny body! Thank you to all that prayed for him. He is healing great from the tubes going in, but now is suffering with a cold.....thanks again for loving him and praying!

 

Prayers for my little man.....

Good morning! I would like to ask for prayer for Ezzy. Tomorrow we will be traveling up to St. Louis where Ezzy will be having tubes put in his ears to releive his ears of fluid that has been there for months. We are excited to see the outcome of his new ability to hear and pray that he will respond well to the new world of hearing that will be all around him. Thank you for your prayers for a safe surgery and recovery for our little guy. We will keep you posted on the anticipated response to "open ears" Ezra will soon experience! God is good and we trust him for the future development for our Ez man!

My first "Everyday"

I thought I would write about an "Everyday" that I enjoy.....well, I just gave my kiddos a bath and the simple pleasure of smelling lavendar lotion is what comes to mind! :)

I enjoy smells...Everyday Mommy wrote of the smell of coffee...that too is a nice aroma! Even being pregnant, I still, for the most part in the mornings, like the yummy smell of a cup of coffee, with plenty of french vanilla coffee creamer...

Happy Birthday to my LOVE!

Today is the birthday of my Lovey. I am so thankful for Edwin and the FUN we have together. He is my soulmate and I LOVE him so very much! He was created perfectly for me and I praise God for the gentle, kind, and sweet hubby that he is. He is a fun, loving, caring and wonderful daddy!

My little man Ezra

I am so blessed to be Ezra's mommy. It is hard to believe that my little man is almost 18 months!

I rejoice in the GOODNESS of God in blessing me with him and continuing to heal his little God created brain.
He is so alert and part of his world all around him. His beautiful brown eyes, outlined by his lashes many woman have coveted :) are so relaxing to look into. He simply just looks back and there is such a precious connection between us.
I love seeing him peer into his daddy's eyes and to lovingly be still and content. Ezra communicates with his whole body...though through his beautiful eyes, you see rest and comfort. I am confident to say that GOD gives him this peace you see in his eyes. He is our JOY and such a precious part of our family.
I love you sweet Ezra and cherish you my precious son.

Home Sweet Home!

I am so glad to be home!! So is the rest of the fam!

We had a wonderful and amazing time as a family these past two weeks. We spent time with friends and family in the beautiful states of New Hampshire and Maine. We consider our time away a blessing from God and a true time of refreshment.

As I slowly begin to unpack, a time I enjoy because of a chance to organize :), I thank God for a safe and healthy trip....there were only a few "bumps" in the road, but God worked them all out. Thank you to those of you who prayed for our family during our time away!

We now hit the ground running, but even in the midst of getting "back in the swing" God reminds me of the precious memories made and the blessing these past fews days have been.
