Leaving on a trip....

Well, in a few days we will be driving to visit friends and family back home. We LOVE these times to visit and be encouraged by the dear ones we love and cherish! Holding a new little niece for the first time is just breathtaking....

God is good and today He has reminded me that in the craziness of life with the kiddos :) He is always there, in a still small voice desiring to give me wisdom and peace. HE is always there, faithful and true. Let us draw from the "well" of goodness our KING has prepared and ready to lavish upon us, His children.

Our Shepherd

God is our Shepherd....
I love the 23rd Psalm. I read through it with my oldest daughter over breakfast yesterday and she wanted to repeat every line I read. It was refreshing to take time in God's Word, reading it slowly and enjoying the promises given to us within God's precious words to us. God is our Shepeherd and He does care for us, He comforts us, and leads us...by still waters. I love the picture that leaves within my heart.
Rest in the goodness of God today and enjoy His leading and comfort He so freely gives!

Glad to be a mommy

I love being a mommy. I love being needed by little ones all throughout the day. It does get tiring, but then when she walks out the door, her shoes already tied without your help, you kinda feel not needed. But then again, there are the other little ones right behind, needing you, wanting you. Raising kids is a journey, a daily transformation that is evident if you take the time to just watch. Being the mommy to my little ones truly is joyful.

They are all my precious little Jewels of Joy.

I am blessed beyond measure.
